An increasing emphasis on corporate responsibility (CR) is encouraging more and more organisations to consider employee volunteering as a way of contributing to their local communities. Invariably this has a mutually beneficial effect. The employee is able to develop or enhance skills outside their normal employment which can be especially useful for building self confidence. The receiving organisation benefits from skills, time and support which it may not be in a position to pay for.
We can help you to develop your employee volunteering scheme. We'll work with you to write a policy and then identify suitable partner organisations. We can help you to match individuals to volunteering opportunities which will benefit their personal development and we can support them throughout the experience. We can also undertake an evaluation at the end of the arrangement if required.
