Organisational Review Hammersmith and Fulham Volunteer Service (HFVC), based in West London, was set up in January 1996 to promote and develop volunteering opportunities within the borough. The brief Creative Services (now Conker Consulting) was commissioned by the dynamic and forward thinking Director Marion Schumann to carry out an Organisational Review. The 4 key areas of focus were; Employees, Systems and Procedures, Training and Development, Communications. The process Rosanna Henderson carried out confidential interviews with several staff members; reviewed all manual and computerised systems and procedures, attended staff meetings, office launch event, AGM and observed working practices both in and outside the offices. A detailed Report was produced for HFVC which contains a thorough analysis of background, current situation, suggested areas of improvement and development, recommendations and next stages. The benefits HFVC have taken very positive steps in having a thorough review of their organisation which will enable them to add even more value and benefit to their successful programmes which will have a direct, positive impact on their staff, trustees, clients, shareholders and funders.
