Care Concern (Homecare) Ltd. is a well established company that provides carers to look after people in their own homes. We are small and local and currently have around 75 clients receiving care from about 35 carers.
After nearly 15 years of employing people, and not having a dedicated human resources manager, we felt we needed a complete overhaul in the area of recruitment and all other staffing issues. Then a free local publication arrived through my door and just when I was about to throw it in the recycle bin I happened to glance at the first page and spotted the word 'personnel' and Conker Consulting.
I contacted Rosanna the next day and have not looked back since. She understood what we wanted and set about the task in a very professional way. An initial meeting was set up to discuss our brief and for the last few months we have been working closely with her. After initially looking at areas such as recruitment, she has gone on to guide us through all the common issues that you come across when employing staff. To date she has produced a smart, up to date new staff handbook and is continuing to update our procedures in all areas of human resources.
Working with Rosanna has been extremely motivating; she understands the needs of small businesses and sets about the task in a very methodical way. She sets realistic goals for herself and her client, but is flexible towards the needs of a busy company. She is direct and if she comes across information that is unfamiliar to her she will set out to find an answer and a solution that is acceptable to both parties.
The benefit of having found Rosanna far outweighs any cost involved. She is professional, efficient, produces work of a high standard and knows her market. We are just enormously grateful that we found her.
